3D product not at the show but a tool to do 3D the right way.

Some inherent problems with 3D especially in projection are that a lot of projectors do not reproduce all types of 3D. Case in point “JVC”; JVC will only play a top bottom 3d broadcast "ESPN3D" if it is playing at Max 720P~24. DP has similar problems with their Titan line. Runco is worse and will only do top bottom. I asked around for a solution product and was told of a product that was not at the show. It is a scalar that is all about 3D and comes in 3 Flavors.

Another cool box we saw at the ADI booth by Wi3 inc. It is a 1 gang MOCA box. It allows you to get Ethernet through coax. Better than power line and wireless.

We walked through the door and came across a neat little product. $599 retail. 8x8 video solution box from Hydra connect. It key cashes and is switchblade mixing any audio with and video signal coming to it either digital or analogue. It will not take a digital signal and down covert it to analogue. you will have to plug that in separately. It will however inject analogue audio directly on to the HDMI feed for simul-casting. It is designed to work with control 4. Proticol for other systems is still pending. Who knows if it will work in real life.

We have landed at Cedia 2011 in Indianapolis. It is a small show this year and it is only Chris and I so I decided to blog my Trip so you guys can have a preview into what we have seen so far.
